Yes, completely free to play. No account is required to build and seal an album.
How do I make a prediction?
You order all twelve groups, choose the eight best third-placed teams, then pick the winner of every knockout tie up to the final. The how to play guide walks through each of the eight steps.
What's different about the 2026 format?
2026 is the first 48-team World Cup, co-hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States. Teams are split into twelve groups of four; the top two from each group plus the eight best third-placed teams advance to a 32-team knockout bracket. Our tournament guide explains it in full.
What are the 'best third-placed teams'?
With twelve groups, finishing second isn't the only way through. The eight strongest teams that finish third across all groups also qualify for the knockouts. In your album you pick which eight of the twelve third-placed sides you think advance.
How does rating work?
Anyone viewing an album can give it a thumbs up or thumbs down. Those votes determine where an album sits on the table. A lightweight per-device check keeps a single visitor from voting on the same album many times; it's a de-duplication aid, not a strict guarantee.
Can I edit my album after sealing it?
A sealed album is a snapshot-that's what makes it fair to share and rate. If you change your mind, the simplest path is to build a fresh album with your new picks. You can start a new one any time.
How do I share my album?
Every sealed album has its own permanent link and a share image, so it previews nicely in messages and on social. Just copy the link from your album page.
Can I compare my album with a friend's?
Yes. The compare view lays two albums side by side and shows your exact percentage of agreement-champion, finalists, group winners, knockout calls and best thirds, all broken out.
Is this affiliated with FIFA or the World Cup?
No. Album '26 is an independent, fan-made game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to FIFA, the World Cup, or any team or governing body.
